Entry Requirements : • Require 53% and above in bachelor degree in Social Policy or a related discipline such as Economics, Health Studies, History, Politics or Sociology, if student interviewed successfully by UCLan staff member and this documented on application. • Require 55% and above in bachelor degree in Social Policy or a related discipline such as Economics, Health Studies, History, Politics or Sociology,if not interviewed,3% margin to be considered by UCLan staff based on reputation of institution, work experience etc. • Applicants with good Masters but just below 50% Bachelor Degree to be considered for admission on a case by case basis by the Admissions Tutor. • Require 70% and above in English in Standard XII. • Candidates with a professional qualification in social care, health or a related area who do not have a first degree will be asked to demonstrate their suitability for postgraduate study on the basis of an essay of 2000/2500 words on a relevant topic. Candidates may be asked to attend an interview.
